AAS now offers Do-It-Yourself(DIY) AMACS Starter Kits for those of you who have some software experience and have a knack for electronics you can now order these starter kits and build your very own AMACS!

The AMACS is a powerfull, upgradeable, expandable, and networkable Windows PC Control System. With todays PC prices dropping to unbelievable values it is our belief that anyone can purchase a Windows PC capable of running the AMACS for a very low cost. When you consider that most people already own a PC or have an outdated one laying around collecting dust, or can purchase a new PC at such unbelievable prices, well then you can see why AAS has decided that the PC and Windows is the best price and performance controller around. Using AMACS you can control practically anything on your Aquatic System. Using AMACS you can monitor and datalog practically any parameter you desire. Using AMCAS you can keep your Inhabitants in the best controlled environment possible. Using AMACS you can achieve almost anything you can think of.

AAS also provides an optional "Software & Hardware ToolPak" that helps you get a big jump on the software code development and system design for your DIY AMACS. The Software Tools provide ready to use Visual Basic 32-bit sample subroutines for Serial Port I/O, 7xxx Module I/O, Datalogging, Trend Displays, Alarming, Initialization of your System, Sensor Calibration and more. This includes an executable program that runs out-of-the-box to start acquiring data within minutes and for only $99.00 this is a real deal considering it will easily save you in excess of 100 hours of programming and debugging time alone if you had to figure out all these routines out by yourself, even if you already know Visual Basic!

If your programming in a language other then Visual Basic well then just print the text files supplied of all these subroutines and you can more easily port the code to your language of choice in a fraction of the time it would take if you had to start from scratch.

The Hardware Tools supply you with System Block Diagrams, Schematics, Wiring Diagrams, and Images of many AMACS System interconnections. And for those of you who may not understand the electronics too well, then AAS offers you the option of having us do the assembly and test of your system for you prior to shipping the system of your choice out.
