DESCRIPTION:
The BL983319 is a simple-to-use TDS controller, specially designed for the hydroponics and aquarium applications. Thanks to their compact size of only 8 by 5 cm (3 x 2“),they can be mounted in confined spaces and right next to the water preperation/mixingvats. Due to their incredibly low cost, these meters are ideal for all those individuals that up to now have been manually measuring and sampling their water.The measurements are displayed in large digits on the LCD with the LED light indicating the exact status of the controller from a distance. The BL983319 checks and controls TDS from 0 to 1999 ppm. BL983319 operates with a conversion rate of 0.65 between TDS and conductivity which best fits the hydroponics and aquarium applications. The meters come with a built-in relay(2A, 120VAC, NO) terminal that is activated when the measurements are below the setpoint. In order to adjust the setpoint or calibrate the controllers at any point over the full range, simply turn the relevant trimmer positioned on the front panel. The controller iseasy to install and comes with mounting brackets. The HI7634-00 probe is a slim line model that has the same shape and size as their pH counter part to make installation easier and more uniform. In addition, they incorporate a rapid responding temperature sensor as well as a screened cable. Their 2 meter (6.6’) leads end in a 5-wire terminal, which incorporates an anti-noise wire, particularly important when working in environment with running pumps or apparatus creating electro-magnetic fields.Temperature affects EC and TDS measurements to the tune of 2% per degree.Hence, the controllers compensate for the temperature automatically. The meters are available in two models to best suit your application. You can choose from the 115/230V mains-operated model or for those who prefer to operate at low voltage, there is also the 12VDC version with the transformer included in the low cost of the meter.
