DESCRIPTION:
The BL982411 is a simple-to-operate ORP controller specially designed for aquariums, swimming pools, start-up research or applications where space or costs are a major concern. Thanks to its compact size of 8 by 5 cm (3 x 2 “), BL982411 can be mounted in confined spaces and right next to the aquarium or barrel containing the storage water. Due to its low price tag, BL982411 can check all of those processes that the prohibitive costs associated with automatic monitoring up to now left without proper control. This will translate itself into a substantial savings in money and peace of mind. The measurements from 0 to 1000 mV are displayed in large digits on the LCD. In addition, LED lights indicate the exact status of the controller. Both the measurements and the LED’s can be seen even from a distance. BL 982411 also incorporates a relay which can be set at any value over the entire range. The relay(2A, 120VAC, NO) is activated, whenever the measurement is below the setpoint. In order to adjust the setpoint or calibrate meter at any point of the scale, simply turn the relevant trimmer right on the front panel. This conveniently designed controller is easy to use and to install. Any combination ORP electrode with a BNC connector can be hooked up to the meter. AAS Distributes a comprehensive list of ORP electrodes for a variety of applications. For your convenience, however, the optional HI3214P/2 with a fiber salt-bridge is particularly suitable for aqauriums, swimming pools, and other similar applications. This electrode also comes with the sophisticated double junction reference chamber which minimizes fouling and prolongs electrode life. HI3214P/2 is tooled with an external thread to facilitate both tank and in-line installations. The meters are available in three models to best suit your application. You can choose from the 115V or the 220-230V mains-operated model. For those who prefer to operate at low voltage, there is also the 12VDC version with the transformer included in the low cost of the unit.
