DESCRIPTION:
The HI98143 is a pH and Conductivity transmitter designed to accept high impedance signalsdirectly from a pH electrode and a Conductivity electrode at the same time. Direct connection of the electrode to the transmitter assures a positive electrical connection with no signal loss. This transmitter is mostuseful in remote process control applications. The unit transmits 0 to 1V(-01), 0 to 4V(-04), or 4-20mA(-20)output proportional to the inputsignals but independent of changes in load or cable capacitance. Calibration is performed with one or two trimmers for offset and slope adjustments for both pH (4/10 and 7 pH) and conductivity (0 and 5 mS/cm).Temperature compensation for conductivity measurements is performed by the transmitter's ATCcircuitry. The transmitter can be connected to the Aquarium Monitoring and Control System.
