DESCRIPTION:

The HI9813 is a versatile, easy to use portable combination meter engineered for use with all growing applications. The HI9813 allows you to measure pH, Conductivity(EC) and Total Dissolved Solids(TDS) with just one instrument. The meter has a pH range that covers the full spectrum. The EC range has been extended to 4.00 mS/cm to overcome the limitation of 1.99 mS/cm or 1990 uS/cm. In the TDS range, the HI9813 uses the common (also known as 4-4-2) conversion factor approximately 0.65 ppm = 1 uS/cm for fertilizer readings to ensure your measurements fully conform to industry standards. The HI9813 measures TDS in the 0 to 1999 range. The specially engineered 4-in-1 HI1285 probe is interchangeable and the pH electrode utilizes a fiber junction and gel electrolyte which are particularily suitable when used in fertilizer solutions. Calibration is reduced to one point in the pH mode and one point in the EC/TDS modes. EC/TDS measurements are automatically compensated for changes in temperature. The meter has a Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS) which will not allow readings when the battery level is too low for accurate measurements.
