DESCRIPTION:
The HI9812 is a portable combination meter providing field measurements of pH, conductivity(EC)and Total Dissolved Solids(TDS). The rugged HI9812 has been specifically designed to be easy touse in the field while reducing the number of instruments required for water quality analysis. Calibrationhas been reduced to one point for both pH and conductivity/TDS modes. The accuracy of yourconductivity/TDS measurements will not be in question as the HI9812 is equipped withAutomatic Temperature Compensation. In addition the BEPS (Battery Error Preventative System)will alert the user when low batteries could affect the readings. The HI9812 allows quickreaction to variations typical in water conditioning applications. This portable meter uses thenewly designed replaceable HI1285 probe. No probe changes are required when switchingyour measured parameter between pH, conductivity and TDS. The specially engineered pH electrodealso features a cloth junction and gel electrolyte for faster response and reduced contaminationproblems.
