DESCRIPTION:
The Hanna PICCOLO is a breakthrough in pH technology With a resolution and accuracy of 0.01 pH, PICCOLO has the accuracy of a bench meter at the fraction of the cost. Battery operated and only 100 grams, PICCOLO measures pH wherever you need to. Just switch it on, immerse and read. The electrode has sealed electronics designed to cope with humid & dusty conditions and can be removed by simply sliding it off. Piccolo has a 3.5" electrode. Piccolo 2 has a 6.3" electrode. The creation of PICCOLO by Hanna, is a response to today's industry. Piccolo is a revolutionary all-in-one pH meter with an "Electrode + Amplifier" design. The problem with conventional pH meters is the high impedance signal which makes the electrode, connector, cable and meter delicate and susceptible to noise, humidity and dirty environments. PICCOLO overcomes these problems with an interchangeable preamplified pH electrode that transmits a low impedance signal to the meter. Dual point calibration is performed simply through trimmers on the meter's casing.
