DESCRIPTION:
The HI8666 Relative Humidity/Temperature 4-20mA Transmitter is a state-of-the-art solid-state sensor which plugs into its wall-mounted receptacle for on-site, continuous monitoring of relative humidity and temperature in critical or controlled environments. Two separate 4-20 mA analog signals which can be powered by a single external voltage source can be sent to remote panel meters, controllers, or data acquisition systems. Applications include environmental chambers, HVAC installations, building management, clean rooms, calibration labs and museums. The HI8666 has an accuracy of ±2% RH and ±1%ºC. It can be used in dusty environments by adding a furnished removable sintered-metal cap. With its plug-in convenience, the unit can be quickly removed and replaced; so the cleaning or calibration checks cause no costly downtime in the production area.
