DESCRIPTION:
The HI8615 is a two-wire water-resistant transmitter designed to accept high impedance signals directly from an ORP electrode. The amplifier transmits an isolated 4-20mA output current that is directly proportional to the input signal but is independent of changes in load or cable capacitance. The isolated input prevents problems caused by ground loops and low insulation cables. Calibration is performed with one or two trimmers for offset and slope adjustments. The IP65 enclosure allows electrical connections without exposing instrument circuitry to the environment. Thus, the HI8615 is the right answer for outdoor mounting and industrial rated applications.
