DESCRIPTION:

HI8424 - The same performance of a top-of-the-line microprocessor bench meter, can also be obtained with the HI8424 portable pH meter, one of the most popular pH meters on the market. By utilizing an advanced microprocessor, HI8424 is able to perform pH, ORP, ISE and Temperature measurements with high accuracy and fast response. The mV measurements automatically switch from 0.1 to 1mV resolution when the reading reaches 400mV. Temperature effects are automatically compensated for, from 32 to 212°F (0 to 100°C) or can be manually compensated for on the control panel in the same range. The meter has three memorized buffer values, (4.01, 7.01, 10.01) and automatic buffer recognition to avoid errors during calibration. To make calibration even easier, the calibration trimmers have been removed and calibration is now performed at the push of a button. HI8424 is supplied complete with HI1230B combination gel double-junction pH electrode with BNC and 1 m (3.3') cable, HI7669AW Temperature Probe with 1 m (3.3') screened cable, 9V battery and instruction manual.

0.1 mV Resolution. Necessary for ion selective electrodes. The first portable pH meter on the market with this resolution
Automatic Buffer Recognition. The meter will automatically recognize pH 4.01, 7.01 and 10.01 buffers
Automatic Temperature Compensation
Simple 2 Point Automatic Calibration Calibration is performed simply through the membrane keypad. The calibration data is then stored in the microprocessor's memory and will remain, even when the meter is off.
