DESCRIPTION:
The HI6100405 is Hanna's latest addition to the range of combination pH electrodes specifically designed for industrial applications. For this reason alone these electrodes can be used in any Aquatic System making them an obvious top quality choice for long lasting and heavy duty usage. The sensor has a hex-shaped body for easy installation, requiring no special tools. Continuous flow-thru mounting is possible thanks to the 3/4"external thread. No special Holders are required! Standard 3/4" thread PVC pipe Tee connectors can be used. On the other end the probe is provided with a 3/4" thread so they could be attached to a pipe for dip applications. In order to reduce the contamination coming from normal use, the electrodes combine polymer reference electrolyte and double-junction technology: no refilling is required, and the electrode can be used in samples such as organic compounds, proteins and heavy metals. In addition, the electrode uses a unique annular Teflon® junction that maximizes surface area contact and minimizes clogging. These industrial probes have a built-in potential matching pin that eliminates electrode fouling due to ground loop currents through the reference sensor. These electrodes have been engineered with a user replaceable battery to power the amplifier. This features adds life to the electrode and helps in torubleshooting. The HI6100405 comes with a BNC connector and a 5 m (16') cable, with the built-in amplifier you can make connections directly to our 7018 Analog Input Module
without the need for a 4-20mA Transmitter. This also means the HI6100405 can directly drive any DAQ System A/D Converters with no other signal conditioning required. This electrode is a perfect fit into our Aquatic Monitoring and Control System (AMACS).
