DESCRIPTION:
The HI3001 is Hanna's latest addition to the range of Conductivity Probes specificallydesigned for industrial applications. For this reason alone this Probe is an excellent performer that can be used in Aquariums making it an obvious top quality choice for long lasting and heavy duty usage. The sensor has a hex-shaped body for easy installation, requiring no special tools. Continuous flow-thru mounting is possible thanks to the 1/2"external thread. No special Holders are required! Standard 1/2" PVC pipe Tee connectors can be used. On theother end the probe is provided with a 3/4" thread so they could be attached to a pipe for dip applications.The probe combines the proven 4-ring potentiometric method of measuring conductivity with a platinum sensor.The universally acclaimed 4-ring method provides a more stable measurement over a wider range. The probe doesnot polarize, nor does it need frequent calibration or cell changes. The protective cover is made ofUltem® and can be removed for quick maintenance. Operating limits are 0 to 80°C(32 to 176°F) with pressures up to 6 bar (87 psi).
