DESCRIPTION:

The new Hanna HI180 series stirrers are compact, lightweight, low-cost and designed in a special round shape without any sharp corners. Lack of laboratory bench space is no longer a concern. Available in nine colors; light yellow, light sea-green, light blue, yellow, green, dark blue, red, grey and ivory. These stirrers incorporate electronic controls that allow the user to regulate the speed with greater precision. In addition to speed control, a Speedsafe™ mechanism will assure that the maximum speed will never be exceeded. Often, a sample is removed from the stirrer before reducing the speed. This would cause the motor to accelerate until it is destroyed. Each HI180 is equipped with Speedsafe™ System which monitors the speed. The glass-free ABS housing resists the harmful effects of chemicals. This means accidental spills will not destroy the equipment. All components are rigidly mounted on a molded casing covered with a reinforced colored ABS plastic plate. Minimal vibration and a well balanced rotating arm give years of trouble free operation.
