DESCRIPTION:
The HI1004/5 is Hanna's latest addition to the range of combination pH electrodes specifically designed for industrial applications. For this reason alone these electrodes can be used in many Aquatic Systems making them an obvious top quality choice for long lasting and heavy duty usage. The sensor has a hex-shaped body for easy installation, requiring no special tools. Continuous flow-thru mounting is possible thanks to the 1/2"external thread. No special Holders are required! Standard 1/2" PVC pipe Tee connectors can be used. On the other end the probe is provided with a 3/4" thread so they could be attached to a pipe for dip applications.In order to reduce the normal contamination coming from normal use in aquaria, the electrodes combine polymer reference and double-junction technology: no refilling is required, and the electrode can be used in samples such as organic compounds, proteins and heavy metals. In addition, the electrode uses a unique annular Teflon® junction that minimizes clogging. These industrial probes have a glass body electrode that can withstand even agressive chemicals and are easy to clean. A Ultem® protective sleeve gives the electrode resistance against mechanical stress. Operating limits are -5 to 80°C(23 to 176°F) and pressures up to 6 bar (87 psi).
