FlexPLC - "Control Window"
DESCRIPTION:
The FlexPLC Configuration Utility Software is designed for
Windows 95/98/XP PC's. The Software is only used to setup and configure your FlexPLC to run
the way you want it to. Once your FlexPLC is configured, you disconnect your PC along with the
serial download cable and FlexPLC runs all on its own. A true Stand-Alone, Real Time, Aquarium
System Controller. Using the Configuration Utility Software to customize your FlexPLC is an easy 3-Step process:
Step 1 - Define your Control Rules, Step 2 - Check your Control Rules, Step 3 - Download your Control Rules to FlexPLC
and your Done. A Customized Aquarium System Controller running your way!
When you start the Configuration Utility Software on your PC the Control Window is the first screen you will see.
This is the display you use to define your FlexPLC "Control Rules".
Rules for the FlexPLC are just what they are in our own everyday lives, Rules are something to follow.
For the FlexPLC a Rule is something you want the controller to follow, the only difference here is that unlike people,
FlexPLC NEVER breaks the rules !
Here's an example of a typical Rule, lets say that on a daily basis you want your Lights to go ON at 7:00AM and OFF
at 6:30PM. I will assume you have plugged these lights into FlexPLC Output #1. Your Rules for this
control state would look like this -
CLOCK = Daily 07:00 --> OUT 1 ON
CLOCK = Daily 18:30 --> OUT 1 OFF
It is very easy to configure the FlexPLC to obey your rules and to operate by your rules 24 hours a day,
7 days a week. No programming experience is required to configure FlexPLC, just logical thinking and
a creative mind will get FlexPLC doing what you want it to do, when you want it done. To configure Rules you just point
and click your mouse, select from the drop-down list a few options and your done. Simple, quick, powerful and easy.
