When you consider the factors of cost, performance, flexability, upgradability and quality then our FlexPLC will be your choice for a User Programmable System Controller. By using our FlexPLC hardware technology and our own easy to use FlexPLC Configuration Utility Software, AAS is able to supply our customers with a out-of-the-box solution to your control and automation needs. Below is an outline of one of our recently shipped FlexPLC systems. This system was ordered with the option of having AAS customize it for Water Level and Flow Sensors, Water Flood Alarming, a Remote Dialer/Pager, and 3 Dosing Pumps for automated chemical dosing and water level control.
CONTROLLER:
The system controller for the FlexPLC is a PIC Microcontroller PCB with 4 Input Channels and
4 Relay Outputs. The FlexPLC has a Real Time Clock and a RS485 serial port. Communications between the
FlexPLC and your Windows PC is provided by our RS232 to RS485 Converter.
The RS485 serial data bus is a 2-wire bus that can support up to 32 addressable FlexPLC's.
This expansion capability provides for unlimited sensor monitoring and control. The
RS485 bus can support cable lengths of up to 4,000 feet so distance between PC and multiple FlexPLC's
is never a problem.
SOFTWARE:
The software for our FlexPLC Systems is implemented in Visual Basic.
The FlexPLC Configuration Utility Software is a ready
to run executable program that provides a simple 3-Step GUI interface to
allow the user to easily configure and download custom control code
directly into the FlexPLC.
With the FlexPLC Configuration Utility anyone with absolutely no programming
experience can create a custom stand alone control program that runs without a PC
on the FlexPLC system. The FlexPLC can be used and customized for an endless amount of applications.
