The AAS Heating System consists of just 3 components:
1. Sub Gravel Heater
Depending on the size of the aquarium, you can choose between 3 different sizes of AAS heaters for installation on the bottom of the aquarium. These units can be combined alone or in combinations to provide a versatile range of wattages:
Selection of the correct Heater is dependent not only on the size of aquarium, but also the position and type of aquarium (open or closed). AAS Heaters are high quality industrial strength immersion heaters, built to last a lifetime and to provide worry free service.
2. AAS Heater Supports
AAS Heater Supports help with supporting the heater slightly above the bottom of the aquarium and to prevent damage from the weight of gravel, rocks and other decorations.
3. AAS Thermocouple
An Industrial grade, high quality Thermocouple located in the return line of your filter system provides the Feedback to the AAS CPU Controller to complete the closed loop Heating System. Remember, The AAS Temperature Control System is just a beginning component for you to begin using this fully upgradeable, microprocessor based and centrally located Automated Aquarium System! With the AAS User Interface you can enter setpoints and display readings on the LCD by means of membrane keys. The AAS CPU Controller has up to 4 PID control loops, which are able to simultaneously control and operate up to 4 independent heating and or cooling systems.
